Trusts are the blueprint for handling the assets the client has built over a lifetime.  The trustee has the responsibility of following this blueprint as set up by the Trust document.  We serve as trustee when there is no one else available for the client or due to family dynamics that get in the way of having a family member serve as Trustee.

Appointed by the court to manage the financial and/or health concerns of an individual who is incapacitated and may not have an estate plan in place.

Durable Power of Attorney for finances handles all financial matters that are not held in the Trust.  Regarding healthcare power of attorney, we support the client on their behalf with their medical needs.

Probate is a legal proceeding that is used to wind up a person's legal and financial affairs after death for estates that are beyond the limits of what is considered a small estate in California and where a trust hasn't been set up.
